Happiest Facts To Make Your Day

Since people are beginning to lose hope in humankind, here are a few happy facts to make your day, and probably retain your faith in Humanity. Some of the facts are absurdly amiable and some are truly awesome! These were some of the happiest facts on the internet.

Penguins only have one mate their entire life. They also "propose" by giving their mate a pebble. They work hard on finding the best pebble and give it to their lady friend. And some penguins  steal others' pebbles.

A young puffin is called a puffling. A group of flamingos is called a Flamboyance, a group of unicorns, a Blessing.  Just thinking about that puts me in a better mood.

Apollo 17 astronaut Gene Cernan, the last man to walk on the Moon, promised his daughter he'd do something special for her that no other little girl would have: he'd write her initials on the Moon.
After he parked the Lunar Rover for the last time and headed back to the Lunar Module, he took his sample excavator and wrote "TLC" -- his daughters initials, next to the Rover. The initials are still there today, and will probably last about 50,000 years if nobody shows up and drives over them.

On the day of his assassination, Martin Luther King Jr. had a pillowfight in his motel room. A fluffy way to remember him.
He is the Otter half!

The Beatles used the word "love" 613 times throughout their career.

Otters sleep in water and hold hands while sleeping so they don't drift away from each other. I guess that makes them the Significant Otters!

For billions of years since the onset of time, every single one of your ancestors survived. Every single person on your mom and dad's sides, successfully looked after and passed on to you life. What are the chances of that?

We are the part of the universe that is becoming aware of itself.

Old people in Japan volunteered to go in the nuclear plants to test the radiation level simply because they 'would've died in 12-13 years anyway'.

Humans have killed diseases

Millions of trees are planted by squirrels who buried nuts then forgot where they had put them. Some trees depend on reproduction solely on squirrels' forgetting powers.

There are 'hot singles in your area waiting for you'!

Every year the Netherlands sends 20,000 tulip bulbs to Canada to thank them for their aid in the second World War.

Rats giggle when you tickle them. Their voices are so high-pitched you need special equipment to hear them, but when you do, their laughs are immediately evident. Also, they love it.

sniff... from now on... it's double patties or nothing!
Cows have best friends. For some reason it makes me happy knowing that if a cow is having a bad day she can siddle up to her best buddy and feel better.

We are living in the most peaceful time in human history.

You are currently the oldest you have ever been, and the youngest you are ever going to be.
I am sure I may have missed many happy facts. Will scour the web for more happiness inducing facts.
