1) PUSSY RIOT PERFORMS IN A GUERRILLA WARFARE FASHION
This Russian band's performance is a kind of music flash mobs, only much, much more badass. Closely resembling Step Up4 movie plot, these Feminist singers are a very secret band/group and most of the identities of the members are not known.
They appear out of nowhere, with no heavy drum sets or expensive metal guitars, usually in religious places and sing songs asking Putin to acknowledge women's rights. They entered in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and sang a song with lyrics 'Shit, shit, the Lord is shit'.
In a country where religious blasphemy is punishable by law(It's Russia. Your argument is invalid), three members of the politically charged band were sentenced to two years after the performance. One of the arrested members taunted both Putin and the Church- “I thought the Church loved all its children,” she said in her written statement. “But it turns out it only loves those children who love Putin.”
The Cathedral was chosen because it had, in Pussy Riot’s view, become a commercial center and because the patriarch had just told believers to vote for Putin in the upcoming presidential election.
2) MAYHEM REGULARLY THROWS ANIMALS' HEADS ON ITS AUDIENCE
Norwegian band, Mayhem is the soul of the shock factor. They are a black metal band and the performances are often weird to say the least, Badass to say at best. But you have to draw a line somewhere when they actually use sheep/pigs' heads during live performances, licking, and sliding fingers on it like one of the chick fans. They end these usual performances with the head thrown out towards the audience to you know, 'play with it'. The band also once hit a guy who was hospitalized when they used sheep's head instead of a pig's which is apparently more dangerous in projectile form. We all learned something new today.

3) GWAR SPRAYS FAKE BLOOD ON AUDIENCE IN CLOSED HALL CONCERTS
GWAR is a satirical heavy metal band known for its Sci-Fi/horror based costumes. The 'satire' in its genre is not just a play of words.
Their performances involve staged beheading of people dressed as political and historical figures. The music is not all that great as even the fans would agree, but they have a cult like following solely because of their awesome live performances. As they start playing in intricate and outlandish costumes complete with fake 2 feet dongs, the peak of their performance is felt in the mosh pit where they spray fake thick blood on the audience in closed places using highly modified cannons (AKA biledrivers). As some of the disgusted wrong-place-wrong-time people try to take cover, fans try to come the closest to be drenched in the blood slurry. The members especially target people holding the camera and the ones running away.
Lamb of God is a metal band whose genre has been disputed many times.
You can call them a mix of Jigsaw and Hitler as in they test the physical strength of their fans during live performances. They ask the audience to clear out a rectangular field and then urge them to ram each other while the metal music keeps playing.
As I imagine the experience from sitting at my desk, I see people running in slow motion as the most epic music of their life plays in the background. Keep in mind that this type of Moshing is the most dangerous kind and bruises and fractures are not uncommon.

5) KISS SHOOTS ROCKETS ONSTAGEKISS is an American Rock band with a penchant for face paint and outlandish costumes. But that's not all that is to the band. Their live performances often leave memories as mementos for the fans.
Thankfully, that's all that is left as this band features some of the most reckless acts onstage, from playing guitar on a smoking guitar and levitating drum sets to aimingand shooting at inanimate targets during live performances which then dramatically explode.

I was just thinking why you didn't include GWAR in the article, but this is still awesome. The Pussy Riot looks badass too.
All of these are tame compared to GG Allin's shows
